TurboHD From Dish Network
58In case you haven't realised, there is a new all-HD (High-Definition) package offered by Dish Network known as Dish HD. This is a 100% high-definition offer that comes in 3 packages. These are TurboHD Bronze, TurboHD Silver, and TurboHD Gold.
The majority of us have become addicted to the clear and crisp image offered by these HDTV's (plasma and LCD screens), and the cable and satellite television companies are fighting hard to offer HD programming. Try watching analog television on your LCD or plasma and you will see. It's like smearing vaseline on the screen. It just isn't as satisfying.
I guess Dish Network is trying to emulate its main (and only) rival DirecTV (they have to anyways) since they are the leaders in HD at the moment. However, the latter does not have an all-HD package, and that is where Dish Network filled the void.
The question we need to ask ourselves is, how many people are actively looking for such a package as TurboHD ? Do keep in mind that the channel selection isn't vast at all. One can expect no more than 50 channels at the most. That being said, I would still opt for an all-HD package over some analog, and some in high-definition simply because of the quality of the picture. What do you think ?

HD is awesome! Once you have had it, you will never go back. TurboHD looks to be no exception.
Having just got my first HD plasma tvI have to say I'm astonished by the quality of the picture. Watching baseball is phenomenal, feel like your stood behind the pitcher on the field itself, awesome!
Indeed this article is true... cable satellite plus plasma/LCD screens doesn't fit.. I think dish network could be worth the try..
These are great packages from Dish..I think their products are worth trying.

HD is the way to go, TurboHD offer looks good and 50 chanels is a start, I am sure they will add over time. In fact I woudl guess within 5 years HD TV will be the standard.
